Cottonwood Campground

Cottonwood Campground has 35 sites. It is operated on a first-come, first-served basis and is suitable for tents and RVs. Each site has a picnic table and grill (for charcoal only--wood fires are not permitted). Pit toilets and water spigots are available. There is NO RV dump station at Castolon.

Group camping is available by reservation at a separate group campground (for groups of ten or more only).

Rangers and volunteers generally offer interpretive programs, guided walks, and evening programs several times a week from November to April

Services and Facilities
The Castolon Ranger Station is open intermittently. Backcountry and river use permits are available when the ranger station is open.

The historic La Harmonia Store in the Castolon Historic District is open daily and offers groceries and supplies.

There is no gas or food service at Castolon.
